Friends and Fashionistas, Tina Jackson and Jennifer Webster, often travelled all over the United States in search of the newest fashion trends to keep their personal wardrobes fresh. In talking with other savvy women, they found that they were doing the same thing. Then came the idea to open a Tampa area boutique specializing in the wardrobe needs of fashion forward shoppers. On July 7, 2007, “High Maintenance” Boutique (HM) opened with a huge fashion show and fundraiser for the Spring of Tampa Bay. As dynamic women, Tina and Jennifer carefully thought out their business plan and what they wanted to achieve. Part of their business philosophy includes inspiring women to be confident in how they dress which then translates into how they feel. In addition, the business owners have a sense of commitment to the community through participation in charities and other organizations especially those that relate to women, children and families.
"Style is an expression of individualism mixed with charisma. Fashion is something that comes after style." - John Fairfield
